COVID 19 STATUS UPDATE 3 – HOW DO WE PROTECT OUR STAFF?
Alchemy Metals takes the safety of our employees and the safety of society very seriously.
We are a key supplier to some of the UK’s most critical organisations. These include medical and food manufacturers as well as electricity and water providers. A build up of waste can seriously hamper or even halt the key operations of these companies. We continue to do our bit, however small, to help them continue running smoothly.
We are a local employer of over 90 valued staff – 99% of them simply can not work from home. Current government guidance is clear in that if you can not work from home you may go to work and of course we continue to follow this guidance closely.
Every precaution is being taken to protect our employees including:
New external hand washing facilities allowing our staff to cleanse their hands before entering and after leaving site.
All employees have their temperature checked on arrival at work but before they enter the building.
All employees are counselled to ensure they are following Public Health England guidelines.
All measures are being taken and enforced to ensure the 2 metre rule is being adhered to.
Fingerprint entry systems are not currently being used.
Key hand to handle areas are cleaned with enhanced antibacterial products throughout the day
Antibacterial Handgel, tissues and soap are in ready supply.
